How to find most searched terms on google, in a certain industry

Honestly, I would recommend googling it first. For example, if you were interested in “real estate keywords,” you should just search this permutation. I just did and a ton of folks have already done most of the work for you. You just need to audit it with the Keyword Planner (https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner), which is still your best tool to find out the total for each specific keyword.

If you have a less common industry to research, you will obviously have to do a bit of work. In order to generate some ideas, use some of the advice given already about using Google Trends or similar.
